Happy Birthday to me!

Another year older !

This Birthday was here before I could even get excited about it I was so busy with my kids that I didn't even pay attention to what month it was lol !

Here is my beautiful Red Velvet cake it was delicious if I do say so myself !

I make myself a cake every year and I knew this year I wanted red velvet (I tried it for the first time last year when I made cupcakes for Hunters school and LOVED them) and I wasn't looking forward to making it but when its all done and frosted its definitely worth the effort !

I think anyone who says they don't like red velvet cake hasn't tried it home made!

This year my Birthday was pretty good my Husband surprised me with gift cards to the mall because he knew if he gave me cash I wouldn't use it all on myself....I went into Bath and Body works to get some lotion and apparently its been so long since I have shopped for myself that the two scents I liked there they no longer have them !

Later Gary and I went out to a fondue restaurant and I had the worst migraine (from shopping at the mall it was soooo loud and all the perfume) so I ended up getting sick and couldn't even eat the best part a platter of things like cheesecake and strawberries and marshmallows waiting to be dipped in chocolate and I was too sick to eat it :( but we got to take it home and we heated up the chocolate the next night and ate it along with my cake that I didn't get to have on my Birthday...so even though it wasn't great throughout the whole day it was a pretty good Birthday weekend!

And a big Thank You to the best neighbor in the world for watching the kids so we could go out on my birthday alone...well almost alone...Peyton was so good we felt like we were without kids !
