Its a......

Girl...Maybe :)
We went in to see if the cyst on my ovary has gotten any smaller and it has by about a half an inch and they still aren't concerned, and since we were there the ultrasound technician let us take a peek at our baby and it was soooo cute we had a perfect veiw of the profile !

The baby's hand was moving around and so were the feet !!

The ultrasound technician said since its 4 weeks earlier than the normal ultrasound time she can't tell me 100% but she said "my vote is its a girl" so I better start thinking pink !!!
Gary is excited but I am in denial, I looked and didn't see anything down there but I am not going to get my hopes up and buy anything pink until I hear that its DEFINETLY a girl !

Outdoor Movie Night!!

For the past 3 Sundays we have been going to the free outdoor movie at the Carolina Beach lake its so fun !
We lay out a blanket for the kids and bring a couple chairs and meet up with some friends and their kids and just hang out and snack and watch the movie.

This is the area before everyone shows up when its closer to the movie time its packed !


Shawn kept trying to hide behind the bush until he ran into one of the branches and then he called the bush a bad boy lol.

Fun Fun Fun!

VBS 2008

Hunter went to Vacation Bible School at our church this week and had so much fun !
On the sunday after vacation bible school they sang the songs they learned for everyone in our church it was really cute all the kids did so good.

They did fireworks on the last day but I had to hold my hands over Shawns ears so I forgot to take pictures, they must have sold my pastor the loudest fireworks they had!

Rain Man

It has been raining so much lately that we have had to sprint from our car to the house numerous times and after I got Shawn in the house nice and dry he walks back to the door and says "see" so I opened the door to let him see the rain and he walked right out into the rain and just kept looking at his feet, his favorite was the wet grass !

he thought it was the neatest thing walking around in the rain!

Happy 4th of July!!!!

Happy 4th of July everyone!

we didn't do much during the day but we did go downtown and watch the fireworks!

we sat on the river walk boardwalk right in front of the cape fear river it was so pretty.

Shawn kept squinting every time a firework went off it was so funny!


We all had a good time and the fireworks were really good this year especially the finale!

Gary's Birthday was today !
We woke up this morning and went to church and after church we napped...Uncle Tyler and Shawn shared the couch lol !

After nap we had Gary open presents

Then we went to a new restaurant where you pick meats and veggies from a salad bar and the cook cooks it all on a big grill top and you pick which sauce you add...it was really good...and I finally got to have curry !!! I never get to eat it because my boys are mac and cheese or hamburger kind of guys lol !
Shawn LOVED it I put chicken and broccoli and peas and rice and had them make it with teryaki and he just sat there and ate and of course tried to sample everyone else's bowls !
When we got home we sang Happy Birthday and everyone took a turn blowing out the candles since they were trick candles and kept relighting !!


Don't you love the effort I made with the candles lol !!
I was all done by the end of the day and just stuck 4 candles in the cake and lit them lol!
