Fit For Fun!

TGIF !!!! I could tell we were getting cabin fever so I packed the kids up and took them to fit for fun....as soon as we got there Shawn knew where we were and ran in before I could get signed in.

I know these things are full of germs but he loves them....

Shawn loved this truck he played in it the whole time!!

As you can see he thinks its his truck !


When he wasn't in the truck he was cooking lol !!!
The apple didn't fall too far from the tree...big trucks and cooking sure sounds like he got a little from each of his parents :)

A little music time....I think this is the loudest drum in the world not as fun for the adults as it is for the kids...

Someone got a little sleepy, so we headed home.

For the record heart shaped pancakes.....not as easy to make as I thought they would be...

Gary and I did the ritual of exchanging cards....Gary upped me by writing a nice note in his card (as he pointed out) and bought me a new cookbook !!!!! soo sweet !

Shawn got the cutest Valentine from his friend Owen !!

We went to a Valentines Dinner our church put together it was downtown in this really neat older building and it had great catered food, I ordered a grown up drink and you can tell I don't drink because the first sip made me grimace and I sent Gary back up to have them tone it down lol !!

After dinner they had dancing I danced one slow song and did the electric slide and the cha cha slide I sat out most of the dancing...I don't know whats with me I would have been out there all night dancing 5 years ago but I have grown shy in public for some odd reason?

Our church had childcare provided at the church which was great because our usual sitter was going to the dinner also so we would have been stuck at home lol.

It was a pretty good night but poor Hunter and Shawn, Shawn cried the whole time and wouldn't let Hunter put him down hence the "poor Hunter"......we were so proud that Hunter stepped up and cared for his brother like he did, they said he didn't even get to eat because he was holding Shawn !!

One of the other boys there (Shawn's future brother inlaw) took over and let Hunter eat, so when Gary and I went to pick them up this boy Zach had gotten Shawn asleep and had a jacket under Shawns head and was snuggling with him on the floor I have never seen a cuter sight !!!

When we went home we treated the boys to the HUGE cheesecake slice we brought home for them from the dinner (literally best cheesecake I have ever had !).

Gary made this for Shawn isn't it really cute ??

I told him I saw it somewhere and liked it and asked if he knew how to make it because otherwise it is expensive and he surprised me with it one day !!!

I picked the paint color I knew I wanted something bright and I kept going back to this one I like it I think it looks like a blue lego lol !

A little exploring...

Poor Shawn kept going to our old backyard and didn't understand when I told him we couldn't go back there anymore and brought him back to our new yard!


He was a little unsure of the mud on his fingers at first..

He kept going back and touching it and then bringing it back for me to clean

and then eventually he got comfortable enough to eat some, no pic of that because I had to decide between picture or get the scoop of mud out of his mouth and well you can see what I picked...

We have moved !

Well here is our new home !

We are all moved in and unpacked and its incredible the difference some space will do to your life !!!
It was a little difficult getting it done with Shawn he was very clingy throught the move and cried if I left his sight so a lot of the stuff I had to do while he napped....but eventually we got it all done we were lucky to get some help with the heavy moving (thank you for helping) and now we just have to do the little things like painting and decorating.
Gary did a lot of the pain in the butt stuff like cleaning the old house and I couldn't be more grateful I was secretly dreading it lol...seriously how unfair is it to have to clean a house that isn't yours anymore?? I know I know your supposed to but it doesn't stop you from feeling like you are cleaning for the new tenants.

I am planning on trying to nurse our grass back to health lol and plant lots of flowers I think right now the house looks so lonely on the outside.
We plan on being here for a good amount of time so I want to put a lot of work into it and really make it ours and even try to grow veggies and fruit...not sure how that will turn out but I am going to give it a try.

Here are a few pics....none of me and Gary he was in too much of a mission to get the stuff moved I didn't bother him lol and I was in pj's and unbrushed hair so definetly none of me....

In this pic you can see the wonderful meals we cooked while moving lol...in case you can't tell whats on his tray its a donut a chip and a poptart lol, I think we went with whatever kept him busy and occupied while we moved....rest assured we are back to regular meals!

As you can see he wasn't too thrilled with the gate keeping him from me!


I am happy to say Shawn has spent at least 60% of the nights here in his own room and does great he wakes up about 4 or 5am and comes in our room, snuggles in and falls back asleep.
Hunter likes the new house but is more interested in video games so I doubt he even notices his suroundings lol !!!

Bye bye old house !!!

This was our Living room/Kitchen....picture a door on the other side of the closet (bedroom) add a bathroom behind where I was standing and thats the whole house !!!

After we were all moved out Gary and I just stood here in disbelief that we a family of four plus a full size dog lived here.....It went from being just for now (we planned on buying a house within that first year) when we were a family of 3 and then it turned into 4 years and a family of 4!
Well here's to a new stress free home with plenty of space for everyone !!
