I am tired !

The carpet cleaners came and the carpets were dry quicker than we expected so we started moving the boxes I had packed and ready to go, Gary and Hunter did manly stuff in the garage and I think I carried over 20 small boxes down to the other house and my lower back hurts so bad.
It will be worth it in the long run though, I am already super excited about Shawns room being that he never had one and I didn't get to decorate a nursery when I was pregnant so I am loving putting his room together !! Its up there with the pantry and the linen closet as my favorites lol!
I told Gary about these cube shelves awhile ago that I would like for Shawns room and he said he could make them and tonight he surprised me with exactly what I envisioned I can't wait to post a pic !!! He told me he had a lot of work to do at the job and he was really making Shawns shelves!

Lots to update !

Well its been awhile since I blogged and plenty has changed....

Best news first well 2nd best, we are all feeling better but the best news is we are getting our 3 bedroom house FINALLY !!!!

We should be in by next weekend !

Our neighbors have moved and even though we will miss them we are excited to have the space and we aren't going to have to move very far lol its 1 house away!!

Shawn loves me packing because it gives him more play places !

So now Shawn will have his own bedroom and as much as I have wanted this for so long I am getting a little sad knowing he will be all alone in his room, I know he will be fine and it is the best for him and I AM excited about decorating his room and painting stuff for it so maybe once its all done and looks happy and cozy I will feel better about it.

Hunter is excited he likes to go and look in his new room whenever we go over there to clean and check things out, he wants an army room because his uncle Brad is overseas serving our country (your amazing Brad) so I think I might paint his dresser and tv stand and try to find some sheets that are army colors as a surprise!

I am so excited I am going to have a pantry in the new house !!

Also I have started watching a friend of mine from high schools little girl she is almost 2 and she is red headed like Shawn but she makes him look blonde her hair is a deep red and beautiful !

They play really well together...lol...they have a little language of their own if one takes a toy the other wanted they give a look and the toy is usually returned lol its funny because they both seem to understand this unspoken language, and they are dancing fools they will dance to any toy that makes noise its really cute !

Oh and Hunter took the bus home from school for the first time last week and loved it so starting today he will be a bus rider on the way home for the rest of the school year, I will still drive him in the morning though....its going to be a big help because I was having to wake the kids from their nap to go get him now they can sleep and won't be cranky yay !!

Shawn is finally saying please but he says mease we have tried and tried to get him to say it right but mease it is.

And he has taken up a new thing....we call it the mean face....and he is proud of his mean face and does it all the time, I had to warn the woman who works in the church nursery that he isn't really mean he is just trying out a new thing and she said she knew because he is always really sweet and yes he did the face the whole time he was in nursery !!

Well thats what we have been up to !!

oh and I gave myself bangs....after I have sworn never to do it again....so once again this is me saying I will never do it again..lol !

Okay so I spoke too soon...

As my sister kindly put it....I shouldn't have blogged about not getting sick because 2 days after hunter and Shawn I ended up catching the god awful night virus from the boys and let me tell you it was the worst I have ever been sick in my entire life I didn't stop until 5am !
The worst part wasn't the getting sick it was the next day when my ribs stomach and waist felt like it had been crushed it from dry heaving (sorry I know gross but I tried to think of a more delicate way to put it and couldn't think of anything) so all day I felt suffocated and sore.
Then when I am recovering Gary says I don't feel so good and sure enough it had got to him too!
We are all feeling better but our stomachs are still a little off, we have to watch what we eat or we feel yucky.

Lets leave it at twice please...

In case you don't know my house was the sick house once again, it started with Hunter going off to bed at 9pm 2 nights ago and getting sick 10 minutes later in his bed and from that point on I think he got sick on every inch of our house and on every blanket...good news is all the blankets in our house are clean....I was up until 4am taking care of Hunter by this time he was so tired he was falling asleep in the shower.

The next day he was better I still kept him home from school so he could relax and get some food in his body.

So a day goes by and I think thank god thats over and right around 6:30pm a day later Shawn starts to cry and by the time I reach him to see whats wrong...yup you guessed it round two....he got sick all over the floor....it was bad enough seeing Hunter go through it but I have never had to see a 1 year old really throw up and let me tell you its the most pitiful thing you will ever see, he just cried and looked like he didn't know what was going on.

3am was the last time he got sick (in my bed I must add) and since then has been doing okay he won't eat much but he is drinking so thats better than nothing.

Keep us in your thoughts and prayers, If Gary or I get this in a few days I quit LOL !

I have to share these pics...the things kids learn by watching are amazing you don't even realize how much they pay attention until they do something like this.....

I guess it runs in the family...

We were invited to go roller skating last Sunday with Traci and the kids and had a lot of fun, I left Shawns shoes at home like a dummy so he wasn't able to use the fisher price ones so I had them give him the smallest they had a 9 and little peanut Shawn is a 4 he just kept looking at the skates when I was lacing them up it was so cute.

I didn't get to get any of him standing because he kept holding on to me so here are some pics of him and his huge skates

Shawn did really good for his first time in skates I took him in the middle of the floor and he walked around holding my hands !! He must get that talent from me and my many years at roller kingdom lol !

Poor Hunter was reluctant to skate because everytime we go he gets plowed over, when I finally got him to skate he was enjoying himself and then ran into a railing and hurt his shin really bad and told me he was never coming here ever again through gritted teeth...I guess next time we will go to the bigger rink.

Shawn was sitting with gary a couple nights ago and yelled for me to come look at Shawn and this is what I saw !

Its really funny because I thought he looked like yoda when he was born and apparently he still bares a resemblence lol !

Shawn was laughing hysterically at us laughing at him.

And these I had to share I let him taste my milkshake and he loved it and looked so cute trying to get the thick milkshake out so I got the camera out he started making these faces and squinting his eyes I don't know if he thinks he's smiling for the camera but these are sooo funny !
This one makes me think of the movie Zoolander lol!

We should have named him Independant..

My little boy likes to do everything himself, he no longer wants to sit in the high chair he wants to eat at the table like us!!
And he has fed himself since the beginning he won't eat off the fork unless he is holding it...same with drinks if he wants a sip of your drink he has to hold the cup or he shakes his head no..lol!

After self feeding it was time for self cleaning lol !

Well atleast I snuck my frog out of the shower so I guess I feel a little better.

For New Years eve we went over to Gary's friends house and had nachos and watched the ball drop.
Gary just barely made it till midnight....

Hunter and their son made it way past midnight having a nerf gun war!

Shawn however chose to have a more peaceful night pushing some babies around for a little walk lol...what can I say he's a sweetheart.

Tree down...Toys up

I was ready to have my living room back to normal so we took the tree down and turned that space back into Shawns playroom lol !

I think he is all set on toys now !!!
