Thanks Shawn...

Well my camera is not working thanks to a little boy name Shawn....
We thought it was cute that he liked to take pics of himself well now after a hundred pics looking like this..............

the camera will turn on but the lens won't come out and it won't let you view pictures that are stored on the camera, hopefully we can get it fixed before the baby comes or her first pics will have to be taken on a cheapy disposable camera lol !

Merry Christmas everyone !

Christmas Eve the boys got to unwrap their presents from out of town family and LOVED everything Hunter begged to go spend his gift cards but we told him everything was closed so he would have to wait, once it got a little later we gave the boys their new pj's, watched a movie and just relaxed and then off to bed to wait for Santa...of course we are so lucky that Santa comes or we would have been the ones staying up putting together a play kitchen and wrapping presents until 5am good thing for Santa huh ;) !

Around 8:30am we all woke up to see what Santa had left us, Shawn was so excited about his kitchen that we had to show him he also had gifts that needed unwrapping but once he got the hang of it there was wrapping paper everywhere.

The boys were pretty close on how fast they unwrapped presents lol we thought Hunter would have all his done way before Shawn but Shawn was pretty fast he doesn't hand me every little tiny piece anymore but he still had to get every piece off the present so funny.

Once presents were over we cleaned up and the boys went off to their rooms to play with all their new stuff and I put the turkey in the oven and relaxed since we were planning on a later lunch/dinner.

Around 2:30 or 3 my inlaws came over and Hunter played with his cousins while Shawn went around hitting everyone up for soda and Hershey's kisses I am surprised he didn't get sick he must have ate half the kisses that were in the bowl and every time someone told him that was enough he went and asked someone else lol !

I don't know what this is all about but I had to put it on here lol !

All of us had a really good day, dinner was great and everyone had a nice time hanging out and spending time with each other...Thank you everyone who came we enjoyed being with you all!

Thank you to everyone who sent the boys presents trust me they were very much appreciated and loved I will be sending pics of them opening them and playing with them when I get a free minute.

And for all the Christmas cards thank you we love getting all those cards with the pictures of the kids they are all sooooo cute!

Christmas Concert

Hunter was involved in the Christmas concert this year, it was such a cute show they did a great job !

Here are some pics Hunter and the concert you will have to excuse the quality of the pic their school cafeteria has the worst lighting in the world every pic I take in there is really dark and it makes zooming really dark.

Shawn wanted to be outside while Gary was sanding the crib and he picked up Hunters scooter like he always does he LOVES it and was pretending to ride it and then....He did it !!

I just had to share with everyone !

We have our tree up !

We went and got our tree last week and the lot we went to had so many good ones to choose from they were all full and tall !

Once we decided on one we realized it was closed and wouldn't be open for another 30 minutes so we drove over to the mall next door to get a new ornament, they have a booth in the mall every year with really cute ornaments you can have personalized we have one from the year we were married and then after Shawn was born I had one made with Shawn and Hunters names on it for Gary.

I enjoy letting the kids do the tree by themselves its not as bad as people would think they do a really good job and even if there is 3 ornaments all grouped together at the way bottom of the tree its too cute to move plus its a nice way to stop and smile during the day when you see it!

and he did it again.....

last year he screamed for this ornament everyday thinking it was a big lollipop and this year I completely forgot until he took this out of the box proceeded to lick it and then took a bite I am guessing Styrofoam and glitter doesn't taste very good!

Very serious about their task....

gotta love the fake smile kids give lol, they are smiling and laughing then you take out a camera to capture the moment and you get this look !

Still it was too cute not to share.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone !

We spent our Thanksgiving in the mountains of West Virginia at my father inlaws house.
Gary wanted to help his dad tile the bathroom he added onto his house so we loaded up and headed for the mountains to tile and eat :)

Here are our kids at the start of our 7 hour drive.

The car rental place said no dogs....but every time we loaded the truck up to go she would jump in the truck so we knew we had to take her or she would be sad...just don't tell the rental people lol Gary took the truck to a car wash and vacuumed her side about 10 times when we got home.
The kids were so good the whole trip Shawn took a pretty good nap the first 2 hours and when we stopped at the army base to get Gary's brother he woke up and we got out had some dinner at Quizno's stretched our legs got some coffee for us and snacks for the kids and headed back on the road, I got in the back with Shawn I didn't want Gary's brother to have to sit with a 2 year old for 5 hours, we all just talked and listened to music for the next few hours and I started getting carsick so Gary's brother offered to swap seats but when I got in front Shawn had a melt down so I had to suck it up and get back in the seat so no one would listen to a screaming child the rest of the trip but he ended up falling asleep and I just rolled my window down enough to get air and made it to the house without getting sick luckily!

Hunter went outside when he woke up and didn't come back in until dinner was ready and Shawn played with his cousin...we took them out on the trampoline but it was just too cold for their little faces that we took them back in and then just ran around and told us they weren't sharing lol !

I was a little disappointed I wasn't going to cook this year but my father inlaw made such a good dinner I really couldn't be too upset...I ate so much I thought I was going to bust and then I ate leftovers for the next 3 days for lunch and dinner everyone kept asking if I was sick of it yet...answer....definetly not when its so good !

The second day we were there was colder so he only lasted 5 minutes on the trampoline !

Poor Kalee she dislikes baths more than anything and I scrubbed her before the trip so she wouldn't smell up the car and she wasn't happy with me but then the day after we got there she got dirty outside in the mud that looks like clay and had to have another bath she was pitiful just sitting there looking like she would rather be anywhere else than in the bathtub for the second time in a week.

Its so funny how he thinks he can help his brother up but very sweet !

You would think size helps in a fight not in this case, Kalee just wouldn't learn she wanted to play and he wanted nothing to do with her we kept having to rescue her from the jaws of fury lol but she kept trying to play with him until I had to just keep her away from him.

Shawn and his cousin they were so cute running around the house and playing she kept telling us "I hit" and he would yell at her "no hit" they were so funny together.

Well that was our Thanksgiving hope everyone had a nice holiday !
