Our day at the Fair!

Its that time of year again when the Fair comes to town !!
We all went this last Saturday it was such a nice day...warm but there was a nice breeze !
The cost of the tickets were $15 even for Shawn !! The woman was going to charge me but I said there is no way I am paying full price to walk around on a field thankfully she sent me to a security guard to take it up with him and he took one look at my belly and said don't worry about it come through here and meet your family on the other side...Thank you nice security guard !!

Check out this donkey its HUGE !!! It was bigger than full grown horses !

Shawn wanted to go on sooo bad !

We figured he can't go on the big swings so take him on the big slide...he laughed the whole way down and as soon as they got to the bottom he tried to cut everyone and go back up the stairs lol !

After the big boys went on some of the big rides we met back up for caramel apples...Shawn asked for the one with sprinkles and I got a plain one but after a few bites he decided he didn't like his and wanted mine so I got stuck eating one I didn't want while he happily enjoyed my delicious caramel apple...

Hunter wasn't feeling too well after the big boy rides but I got a smile anyway

Oh here is my yummy apple all in Shawns belly...can you tell it hurt to give mine up ?

I am sorry but the rainbow sprinkles ruined the caramel it just tasted like a big waxy mess!

Shawn wanted to go on these motorcycles soooo bad and I couldn't find G and H so I tried to take him myself and the guy told me I was too big and too pregnant so we waited for them to be done and had Hunter ride with Shawn to make sure Shawn didn't try to get off while it was in motion and as you can see from the picture he was thrilled at the opportunity :)

Gary and I were laughing so hard because Shawn was laughing hysterically and Hunter was in the back looking so mad such a contrast !

We had him go on one more just like the motorcycle one but it was a mini four-wheeler and Shawn loved it, he was such a wild man wanting to go one everything we even asked him if he wanted to go on the big rides and he said uh huh looks like we are in trouble once he gets old enough to ride them....me and Gary said we are going to flip coins or play rock paper scissors to choose what we have to ride with him !

Gary got Shawn tons of snacks and bought a corn on the cob for himself he was so excited they had them its one of his favorite foods and I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree on this one....

He does share too so thats good here he is sharing his cotton candy and not being stingy with the portions at all lol....

Before we left we decided to check out the tiger and liger show

It was such a cute show the tigers were so smart and were doing their tricks before the guy could ask them because they knew he had treats.....and the best part was when they took turns running around the ring to show off the white tiger kept patting them all on the behind and the ringmaster had to tell him to knock it off...I guess he likes to be the center of attention!

It was so much fun and worth every penny to see how much fun both the kids had !

Here are a few pics from the last couple of weeks that were too cute not to share.

Shawn is getting his two year molars in so he has been very clingy and cranky and sleeping a lot so here he is after he climbed up to jump on me and then I guess decided I was a better bed than trampoline !

Here he is the next day he fell asleep on the way to the grocery store, when he was really little we would lay him in the front if we got tired of holding him and I was desperate so I tried it again lol as you can see he isn't a perfect fit anymore but it worked long enough for me to get some milk and other necessities :)

Here is Shawn blowing bubbles! He is so good at blowing bubbles he doesn't put his mouth right on it too many times and when he does by accident he runs over for me to wipe it off.

He started feeling a little bit better so him and the kids I watch painted and he was so serious about it he would paint a little scribble and then say "mommy I paint !"

Happy Halloween everyone !!!
We are procrastinators so we did our pumpkin carving on Halloween lol !
I don't know if everyone remembers but last year Shawn cried hysterically when we put his hand in the pumpkin so we weren't sure if he would even participate but after a few "Ew's" he went to town.

This is how we kept Shawn busy while we carved the big pumpkins and let me tell you this picture doesn't do it justice to how messy he actually got !

oh and not bragging or anything but I did the dinosaur on the left freehand :)
Shawn has an obsession with Dinosaurs lately and after I was done I wanted to surprise him and I turned it and said look Shawn its a dinosaur and he took a handful of pumpkin seeds and put them in the pumpkin gee thanks for noticing the effort mommy made Shawn lol !

and that was our Halloween !

Good Morning Halloween...

This morning there was a toddler pumpkin party at our local kids playplace from 9am-12 so I got Shawn dressed in his "Rah" costume and we drove over there he let me put it on him fine but in the car he kept saying "I no Rah mommy" luckily no melt down in the car and once we got there he was so distracted by the kids and toys he didn't notice his costume.
There is this one playhouse one of those outdoor playhouses well everytime we go he gets very territorial and doesn't want anyone coming in the house with him and this time he tried to push anyone that came in the door ! I couldn't believe my sweet Shawn pushing kids over this playhouse so needless to say we won't be getting one for our house anytime soon lol!

This couldn't get any cuter..

For snack time they had graham crackers with little cups of frosting so they could decorate the crackers themselves and they used popsicles sticks instead of knives that is such a great idea!
Shawn spread the frosting on the cracker then licked it off and repeated until the frosing was all gone

After snack he ran around some more and then when it was time to leave he wouldn't get out of the car he was driving around....he even sunk down under the seat so I couldn't get him lol all I had to say was okay bye and he came right out !

And here is a video its kind of loud in the background but he keeps saying "all clean"......this is definetly going to be under the Christmas tree !
